Yesterday it was 104 in Portland and 107-109 out here in the burbs...........
When I left at 6:30 this morning it was 77.........
Today is to be even hotter
BUT the main reason for this post is to just remind us of our troops, whether they be
US or other nation, who are in heat that is even more severe with full packs................
I have been in ME heat in summer, e.g. I still remember the 125 in the Syrian desert.
It takes your breath away, literally.
It is suffocating, debilitating..........
There is no amount of fluid you can drink that relieves the thirst you feel.
Today when I was out in 90 degrees just before noon, I thought of them.............AGAIN
THIRTY degrees hotter.
Please remember them......in thought, in prayer.
