Black Raven
Once more I am indebted to Momsalive1 for creating an icon from something I sent to her
in desperation.........I tried and tried to use the LJ method but it kept telling me my patch was too
big. I wanted to edit it where it would display the black raven but not the squadron letters/numbers at the bottom.

I would love to learn to do
icons,
screen caps,
and also videos and wallpaper like Sgafan does so beautifully.
AND never mind creating ff, from story lines that keep circling in my mind, down on my hard drive.
I have a million ideas in my head, but am not certain how to bring them to life

I am now moving into the realm of large pix behind a cut. This should be a terrific learning experience for me given how long it took me to just put anything behind a cut.

Well, sign me up for lessons if you've found a place to learn. I just recently found out how to post a story on my LJ and make a link at the community (thank you Kristen). I have a little notebook where I keep my instructions on that and making links and other little things that everyone else just seems to know how to do. One day I want to make a story archive somewhere with a page of titles/summaries/links to guide you there. Yeah, that will probably never happen.

I found that W3C Schools is the best place for learning html code, since it has both instructions and "Try It Out" pages, so that you can apply what you read.

First thanks :)

Second, not much I can offer in the way of recommending lessons as I'm self taught.

but I am still learning the ways of LJ. Have a hard time posting fic here just because I have a hard time with the cuts and etc. LOL

posting links is easier. LOL ;)

oh I forgot. LOL Screencapping isn't too hard. Most DVD software programs have capping features, and there is a lot of freeware you can download to cap as well. That's what I use. :)
